Courses are divided into six categories:

Acting

This course is designed to introduce the student to the time-tested concepts of the master acting teachers, equipping them with a dynamic, repeatable and personalized acting technique.

Voice/Speech

The voice/speech course of study will explore the capabilities of the human instrument while developing speech technique skills that "empower" the 'act' of the actor.

Improvisation

Improvisational acting will engage the student in a variety of exercises relative to creating a greater focus on acting technique within imaginary circumstances.

Shakespeare

This course will examine the analytical, research, and technical skills needed to perform plays written in “high verse” with an emphasis on the plays of Shakespeare.

Singing for the Stage

Singing for the Stage involves more than just knowing the melody and lyrics to the song.

Ballet Technique

This course will be an introduction of the fundamentals of Ballet.

Musical Theatre Dance

This course will focus on training performers in the various dance styles used in Broadway Musicals.

The Viewpoints

The Viewpoints is a technique of improvisation that grew out of the post-modern dance world.

Stage Combat

This course will enable the student to safely rehearse and perform effective acts of violence for the dramatic stage.

Theatrical Horsemanship

This course will be an introduction to the fundamentals of equestrian riding.

Discipleship

This course will examine the importance of integrity in character development both on the stage and off.

Prophetic Drama and Story

This course is designed to introduce students to the nature and purpose of Prophetic Drama and its expression through Story.

Theatre History

Theatre history will examine the historical development of theatre, from its origins to present day.

Stage Makeup

An introduction to theatrical Makeup.

Stagecraft Lecture Series

This course consists of a series of lectures by working professionals from varying disciplines of the Theatre.

Rehearsal Lab

Rehearsal Lab is the practicum for a professional rehearsal process. Students will experience everything that goes into mounting a professional production, from blocking to memorization work, sectionals to technical rehearsals, and finally dress rehearsals.

Backstage Lab

Backstage Lab is the Practicum for the daily preparation and backstage duties during the run of a professional production. Emphasis will be given to an attitude of awareness, respect for fellow performers, stage technicians, dressing room responsibilities, and personal preparation.

Performance Lab

Performance Lab is the Practicum for the Performance aspect of a professional production. Students will experience what it takes to perform daily in a professional environment. Emphasis will be given to Consistency in Blocking, Energy, Focus, Intention, Picking up Cues, Listening, and Physicalization.
